OBJECTIVES
Self-awareness and future orientation
The project helps young people recognise their strengths and build a clearer vision of their future.
Transversal Skills
Through a variety of experiential activities, participants strengthen skills such as: communication, teamwork and adaptability.
Civic Participation
Participants co-design an advocacy campaign to launch in their own community.
Women's Empowerment
Each module includes a specific focus on young women: helping them build confidence in themselves and strengthen their leadership skills.

The project is open to young people living in Italy or Portugal.
Start the journey
A journey in three stages (Self, Future, Act) to help you, through games, storytelling and theatre, explore who you are, discover where you want to go, and understand how to take the initiative. Selections will open in the coming months: stay updated so you don’t miss the call.
Live an international experience
Only by taking part in the national labs will you also be able to join the transnational lab in Portugal, alongside your peers from Italy and Portugal.
Make your voice heard
In the final stage, you’ll help co-design a real advocacy campaign, later launched in your own community.
For Youth Workers
The project will develop a free toolkit that will gather the full methodology behind Step Up Your Game, built around three modules — Self, Future, Act — combining game-based and reflective approaches. It will include activity sheets, reflective tools, inspirational case studies and practical guidelines. A “ready-to-use” tool, designed to help you bring these activities to the young people you work with.
Before publication, the toolkit will be validated and refined with input from a group of external trainers and youth workers, to ensure it’s clear, useful and adaptable to different contexts. It will be available online, for free, in Italian, English and Portuguese, in spring 2027.
